The Junior League of Rockford is pleased to be able to offer the Outstanding Volunteer Community Service Award again this year to a female high school senior who has a proven record as a committed volunteer in the Rockford area. The recipient will receive $1,000.

Applicant Requirements:

• Must provide basic education and employment information.

• Must provide community service information.

• Must provide two letters of reference.

• Essay: Please describe your volunteer history, including why you choose to volunteer and how it has impacted your life and future career or goals.

Selection

Scholarship application is closed. Thank to all those that applied for the 2025-2026 year.

Applications for 2027- 2028 are not available yet.

There will be an interview if selected in the top 3 candidates, and the recipient will receive a $1,000 scholarship. If selected, the JLR will present the Check at their final dinner meeting in May. The recipient will have to attend to receive the award.
